TERMS GOVERNING THE USE OF RENT A GHOST WRITER BY CLIENTS
This website, its agents, owners, operators, and employees are hereby referred to as "Website," "Site," "We," "Us," and/or "Our". All clients viewing or interacting with this site in ANY way are required to agree with these Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms of this site then you are not authorized to view, interact or use this site in any way. These Terms are subject to change at any time, effective upon notice.
FUNCTION OF RENTAGHOSTWRITER.COM
Rent A Ghost Writer functions as a meeting place for clients - seeking the services of ghost writers for their writing projects, and freelance writers. We are a neutral 3rd party and as such we will not be held responsible for the accuracy of any information posted by either freelancers or clients here at Rent A Ghost Writer. Under no circumstances will this website be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone’s reliance on information or other content posted or transmitted on or through this site. We provide this website on an “as is” basis and grant no warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that your use of this site will be secure, uninterrupted, always available, error-free, or will meet your requirements.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Rent A Ghost Writer reserves the right to remove users who violate these terms. Any user who violates these terms will not be eligible for the return of payments held within their Rent A Ghost Writer account.
PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION
You are prohibited from making ANY direct contact with freelancers, unless you have chosen them for a project. This includes all methods of communication, including phone, ICQ, AIM, or MSN Messenger. Contact information will be sent to you by email once you have selected a writer for your project. Use the message board to contact freelancers, answer freelancers questions or to give more information about your project. Once you choose a writer, the system will send you their contact information via email, or you can communicate with your writer via the project message board. You are prohibited from using Rent A Ghost Writer as a method of recruiting.
VIEWING FREELANCERS' WRITING SAMPLES
To view writing samples for freelancers, please use the Private Message Board (PMB) to ask the freelancer to upload their writing samples to the site for you to view.
FREELANCERS' BIDS
Freelancers can bid on your project, however, no hourly rate bids are allowed. The only grounds for a freelancer to increase the price after the project is closed is if extras are added to the project. If this occurs, then a notation of this should be included on your project board.
ADVERTISING
RentAGhostWriter.Com is not an advertising venue. You are prohibited from advertising yourself on Rent A Ghost Writer. Any URL posted on Rent A Ghost Writer must relate to the project and must not be used as a method of advertising.
PAYMENTS/WITHDRAWALS/DEPOSITS
Rent A Ghost Writer will make payments/withdrawals if the member requests it. Additionally, payments are made on Mondays only. To see the payment/deposits/withdrawals methods we use, please log into your account management area. All amounts are stated in and all payments will be made in US funds. We verify all deposits. As a result, deposits that you make to your account may take up to 48 to appear in your account. If you refuse to send verification information about your account we reserve the right to refund the deposit and terminate your account. Rent A Ghost Writer reserves the right to suspend a withdrawal if the source of the funds is suspected to be fraudulent. Any funds received from an account having made a fraudulent deposit (e.g. stolen credit card) will be reversed immediately. If in a fraudulent payment situation a withdrawal has already been processed, you will be expected to return the funds to your account or face account termination. Rent A Ghost Writer cannot be held liable for deposits reversed without its authorization due to reasons, including, but not limited to, fraud, chargebacks or complaints. As previously stated, any member that we remove from the service due to violation of the and Conditions will receive no credit or payment. Currently we charge a $5 for deposits and withdrawals.
ESCROW
Rent A Ghost Writer provides escrow as a service only as a tool to help members transact more securely. We do not act as an arbitrator between parties, should a dispute arise, except in limited situations. Financial disputes should be resolved between members, or via another third party, and without Rent A Ghost Writer whenever possible. We do, however, reserve the right to cancel an escrow payment, at any time, if we believe we are left with no other option. We also reserve the right to complete an escrow payment if no response is received from the payer, after repeated attempts at contact.
DEPOSIT DISPUTES
Members may not file a complaint with one of our payment processors regarding the funds deposited into their account. We will do our best to resolve any problem a member may have. Refunds will be processed, if deemed necessary, at a time of our choosing.
SHARING ACCOUNTS
Sharing accounts between more than one member is expressly forbidden - only one account is allowed per person.
COPYRIGHTS
No copyright material can be posted on Rent A Ghost Writer. You are responsible for understanding copyright laws. Any complaints will result in an immediate suspension and, after investigation, may result in account termination. COPYRIGHT INFRINGERS WILL BE REPORTED TO THE COPYRIGHT OWNERS, INCLUDING ALL IP'S, AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION SUBMITTED. We will cooperate with any party who wishes to take legal action against copyright issues. This includes posting of reseller, pirated or third party items that are claimed to be original, and deliberately posting products/services that are deceitful to a posting's requirements.
MODIFICATIONS OF OUR TERMS
Rent A Ghost Writer reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications to our terms will be available on this page, so we encourage you to review it from time to time. ANY VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE TERMS MAY RESULT IN HAVING YOUR ACCOUNT TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY WITH ALL ACCOUNT FUNDS BEING FORFEITED.
